From the coastal farm town of Watsonville Ca. James grew up in a musical home. Deeply inspired by 60's and 70's soul,
James is cultivating a sound all his own.
He has opened up for Black Pumas, Brett Dennon, and Peter Harper, Gomez, Jive Machine, and a growing list of local musicians. Murray has also been featured on KRML radio’s pub talk, and performed live on KPIG radio.
